i liked chief william commanda bridge.
it was a fully pedestrian/cyclist-only bridge. in other words, you could stand in the middle of the bridge and take goofy photos without your parents telling you to not stand in the middle of the road. i also liked that you didn’t have to half-yell when speaking.
also, is it just me or are large bodies of water some kind of canon event in vacations? whenever i travel, it feels like there’s always some kind of waterfront boardwalk or a bridge or something. but i guess, to be fair, if 70% of the planet is water, then there are pretty high odds of seeing water. and an island full of birds if you’re on chief william commanda bridge.
enter chaudiere falls. water destination #2. it wasn’t nearly as tall as niagara falls, but it still gave that feeling of awe that you get when nature makes you feel the insignificance of being a tiny human. also, the wind almost blew my hat away.
someday, i will figure out how to properly add captions:
- lots of water1.
- a seagull. from this angle, it looked like a stingray swimming in the air.
- staring contest with a birch tree.
Footnotes
-
due to my lack of photography skills, i wasn’t able to capture the vastness of the water. ↩
